OUR STORY.

The idea of Pink Satin begun randomly in August 2026. The founder, had just brought Logic Pro & asked his friend if she could sing some samples. From there, they began making demos which lead to the idea of releasing music. 

Based on the R&B / POP influence on their demos, they formed an artist group called VELVETTe. Inspired by artists such as Ariana Grande, Tate McRae, Britney Spears & Slayyyter. The name VELVETTe comes from the idea of heartbreak but finding comfort, which links to their unreleased song RESTARTED..? 

Enough about our personal projects, Pink Satin Records was originally founded to manage VELVETTe. However as the founder I decided I wanted to help push newer artists out further than if they worked solo. Artists that have inspired me to do this are, Keira Kingsbury, Eleviera & lana alichja. This is because they aren't getting enough attention as they deserve. 

Smaller artists, unfortunately don't get the backing and support from a huge label. They are often left to do everything independantly, which is a very inspirational thing, however distributor fees can cost alot & you have no legal backing. Meaning anyone could take your music, melodies or lyrics. A record label however, has ownership of those. Preventing this from happening where possible.
